AquaFit Disclaimers: FDA, Medical, Results, Evidence
Five disclaimers, each given a section rather than a line of small print, because the shortest of them is the one most often skipped and it is the one that matters most.
AquaFit is a dietary supplement. It is not a drug, it is not FDA-approved, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Statements about it have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. It is for healthy adults 18 and over, and it names no ingredient on its label, which limits what anybody can tell you about it.
The FDA disclaimer for AquaFit
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
That sentence appears in the footer of every page on this website, and it is not a formality. Dietary supplements are not reviewed or approved by the FDA before sale. The agency’s own consumer material sets out what that means in practice, and it is short enough to read in one sitting (the FDA).
Two consequences worth stating. No supplement on any shelf is FDA-approved, so a page claiming it for one is wrong. And an FDA-registered facility seal, which this pack carries, is a statement about a building being listed, not about a product being reviewed.
The medical disclaimer for AquaFit
Nothing on this website is medical advice. It is a retail website written by an editorial desk, not by clinicians, and it names no clinician because it has none to name.
Before the first capsule. AquaFit is for healthy adults aged 18 and over, not for anyone under 18 and not during pregnancy or nursing. The specific thing worth knowing is that an interaction check is done by reading a panel, and this label publishes none, so there is nothing for anyone to screen your prescriptions against. If you take any, that is the conversation to have before the first capsule, and the useful sentence in it is that the bottle names nothing. Do not take more than the printed serving. The order desk is +1 (888) 254-0425.
The specific limitation on this product is worth repeating here. A clinician screens a supplement by reading its ingredient list. This label has none, so the honest answer a pharmacist can give about it is that they cannot check it. That is not a gap in their knowledge, it is a gap in the label, and it belongs on this page rather than being discovered at a counter.
The results disclaimer for AquaFit
Individual results vary, and food, sleep and activity still matter. Testimonials on this website are supplied by buyers through the distributor, describe those individuals’ own experiences, and are not typical results or a promise that any particular person will experience the same thing.
The published figures on the reviews page are the distributor’s own summary for this desk. They have not been independently audited and no third party has verified them. Fifteen per cent of the published reviews are three stars or below, and those entries are printed at the same size as the rest.
A money-back guarantee is a commercial policy about a purchase. It is not evidence about a product, and treating a long refund window as reassurance about a formula is the most common reasoning error in this category. That argument is set out at length on the guarantee page.
The evidence disclaimer for AquaFit
This website cites published research. None of it studied AquaFit. That is not a caveat at the bottom of a citation list, it is the reason the citations exist, and it deserves its own section.
| What is cited | Why | What it does not show |
|---|---|---|
| Systematic reviews of supplements sold for weight | To show the size of the effect this category produces in controlled trials | Anything about this capsule |
| Reviews of zinc, chromium, alpha lipoic acid and green tea | Because the vendor's marketing artwork names those four | That any of them is present in this product, or at what amount |
| Analyses of supplement label accuracy | To explain why an amount on a label matters more than a name | That this product has any such problem |
| Trials of structured food and activity programmes | Because that is what the evidence supports, and a reader deserves the comparison | That a capsule is equivalent |
| Government and consumer agency material | Because it is written by parties with no interest in a sale | Anything specific to this brand |
Every reference on this website was checked against its own record before it was published. During the build, three of the first ten identifiers used turned out to belong to unrelated papers, and they were replaced rather than shipped. A fabricated citation is worse than no citation, because it is checkable and it fails.
How these AquaFit disclaimers are carried across the site
A disclaimer that lives only on a disclaimer page protects nobody, so here is where each of the five actually appears.
| Disclaimer | Where it appears |
|---|---|
| FDA statement | In the footer of every page on this website, in full |
| Audience and medication statement | In the footer of every page, and in an alert block on the product pages |
| Results and testimonials | In the footer of every page, and at the head of the reviews page |
| Evidence and citations | In the note above every reference list, on every page that carries one |
| Label transparency | In a callout on the home page, the ingredients page and this one, and in the caption of every image that names an ingredient |
The claim asterisk convention was dropped across this estate at the site owner’s request, which means the FDA statement is linked to the claims by being on the same page rather than by a symbol. That puts a real duty on the footer, and it is checked on every build rather than assumed.
The label transparency disclaimer for AquaFit
The last of the five, and on this product the most important. The AquaFit bottle front and the distributor’s sales page name no ingredient and publish no Supplement Facts panel. The words printed above the product name are “Clinically Studied Ingredients”, with no ingredient named and no study cited.
Two pieces of vendor marketing artwork do name ingredients. One names four compounds, the other shows eight botanicals, and the two do not agree with each other. Neither is a label. Every page on this website that shows either of them says so in the caption.
The label prints three support lines: supports healthy weight loss, maintains slim figure and supports healthy metabolism. The first carries the FDA footnote on the bottle itself. In the titles and search snippets of this website that first line is paraphrased as weight support, because a search snippet cannot carry the FDA statement beside it, and the label’s own wording is printed in the body copy where the disclaimer sits on the same page.
If your bottle carries a printed panel. It is the authority and this website is not. Photograph it and send it to [email protected]. It would change five pages here and we would publish it the same week.
Where the AquaFit pages get their evidence
These papers concern supplement categories and named compounds in general. None of them studied this capsule, and none could, because the label names no ingredient to study.
